i was born 31 years ago in berlin and i am still living there.
in the early ninetees i became a fan of pure electronic music, might
influenced by electronic inspired bands like depeche mode,
alphaville, pink floyd, kraftwerk or local bands like karat, city
and silly, music i was listening during my childhood.
1995 i bought my first turntables and start to play with vinyl. more and
more i go into it. 1999 i met toby and we recognized about our same
passion for music and so we spend more and more time together and
start to play our favourite music in berlin club nights. but just with
spinning records we were not satisfied, so we start to compose and
produce own music. i sold my turntables and dj mixer for buying
synthesizers and other studio stuff to expand my tiny computer system.
our first shows as dreher & smart we did on new year 2004/2005 at
pfefferberg and sternradio in berlin.
many shows and some published tracks and remixes on different
labels, for example 3000°rec, rotary cocktail rec, acker rec, mute rec,
ostwind rec, we did in the last 5 years, always exploring and learning.

in mexico iam going to play my favourite dance music as a dj, mainly
digital, just some vinyl if tecnique strikes ;) my added mixtape is a little
example about my taste, hope you will like it. in february i will play
together with marco aka rhauder, one of my best friends and
roommate here in berlin. in this summer we made a remix for the track
"golden samurai" from signal de luxe, published on blaq records.
